The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security’s (EOPSS) Office of Grants and Research (OGR) serves as the State Administrative Agency for many of the Commonwealth’s federal criminal justice, highway safety, and homeland security funds. In addition to being the SAA for many federal funds, OGR is also home to the Research and Policy Division, which uses research and evaluation to promote public safety in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by informing criminal justice and public safety policy.

The OGR is comprised of five divisions:
